Letheringsett is a sheltered estate village on the River Glaven, but the mature trees that make it so attractive also fill gutters with leaves and debris every autumn — and blocked guttering here quickly leads to damp walls and damaged soffits.
The village is centred around the hall, the watermill and a cluster of traditional brick and flint cottages that sit beneath a dense canopy. Gutter guards and regular clearance help, but when fascias or soffits have already started to fail, we fit new uPVC systems that are far easier to maintain long-term. We also make sure downpipes are positioned to clear the flint rubble walls that are common here, as persistent overflow staining is very difficult to remedy once it sets in.
Letheringsett is around eight miles from our Wells-next-the-Sea base via the A149, and we visit the Holt and Glaven valley area regularly. Call us to book a free guttering and roofline check — it's a straightforward job to catch problems before they become expensive ones.
